Sonçağ Orman Ürünleri was founded in 1940 by the late Abdurrahman Sonçağ, initially as a company operating in the horse carriage and forest products logistics sector at the Konak Pier port. In 1966, by taking fast and confident steps and laying the foundations of today’s strong formation that directs the sector, it created a strong brand in the country’s economy with the production of wooden tangerine, fig boxes, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage cases. In 1983, it started its first pallet production, which today has a large share in the market. As Sonçağ Limited Company, it became the 2nd business to obtain the EPAL license in Turkey. Sonçağ, which is constantly developing and taking firm steps towards the future, continues to expand its activities with the production of all kinds of wooden pallets, crates, lumber and chips, with its modern production facility in 2004, in Yazıbaşı, Torbalı district of Izmir. Sonçağ Limited Company, which is determined to carry the company image into the future by blending the trust, performance, synergy and prestige that have brought brand continuity since 1940, will continue to exist in the future as it has for more than half a century.
